Framed by nimbus of lotuses and crowned by a Kîrtimuka and a small figure, the richly bejeweled god is performing an energetic and, at the same time, serene dance. His right foot stands on a lying male figure wearing jewels and crown, behind him a small bearded attendant.
In his forehead the third eye, Shiva’s distinctive, and funks showing his Bhairava or terrible aspect as the destroyer in his cosmic role of stamping out evil and ignorance. He has eight arms, the three remaining in his right side hold the trident downwards, a dagger and a scepter; in his left side he holds the antelope, a lasso, a bow and a rosary.
